This way your lawn will not get shocked and will be able to absorb the nutrients evenly through time. You can also go for organic fertilizer – leaving your grass clippings after mowing, for example. Additionally, you should aerate your yard as often as needed to let the soil breathe and allow water and nutrient consumption to run freely.
